Million March Against Child Abuse

Million March Against Child Abuse!! We welcome Ms. Tonia Hopper, Mr. Ernie Williamson, and a teen who just endured a lengthy trial against those who attacked her. We will protect her during this interview. This is a nation wide event aimed to help bring awareness against child abuse and promote tougher sentencing for those who harm a child. Tonia is the organizer for the local St. Louis March Against Child Abuse which I will be attending. Joining us will be Mr. Ernie Williamson, whos six year old daughter was beaten to death by her kidnapper. We also have a teen who is a survivor of a horrific rape and beating who just endured the trial of her attacker. These are nightmarish cases and we pray it never happens to a child we know, but until we start asking our government to give tougher sentencing, to keep awareness and education of abuse/violence circulating in our schools and our communities; then we can build a stronger defense against all forms of child abuse. As we look at the stranger abductions and attacks, sadly these are only 1% of the reported abuses against our children. 81% of these crimes happen every day within the childs home by those who are closest to them. It is estimated by CDC that 1 in 4 homes is dealing with some form of abuse/violence within the silence. We must begin to see our neighbors and protect all beings against these types of attacks.
